Hours of Operation: 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

The library is open before school. (7:30 - 8:10 am)

After school, parents must accompany students to check out books from the library. (3:00 - 3:15 pm)
Objectives of the Media Center Program
-
To provide students with materials and services appropriate and meaningful to personal growth and development.

To stimulate interest in reading and to guide students' intellectual progress, so that they may find increasing enjoyment and satisfaction in the act of reading.

To help children become skillful and discriminating users of the library.

To work with teachers in the selection and use of all types of library media materials, which contribute to the teaching program.

Our library is open at all times throughout the day to allow students to utilize the library at point of need. Teachers may send two-three students at a time or they may reserve an extra time period to bring their entire for research activities or group lesson in the library media center.

Students visiting the library must bring their shelf marker card to show that they have permission to be out of class .

Students are encouraged to check out books within their ZPD to ensure success in the AR Program (This reading range is used as a guide and is assessed by the Star Reading Test)
