Response to Instruction (RtI)

RtI is a process of support aimed at helping students who are struggling in the areas of academic, behavior, or both. The process involves a tiered level of support using increasing focused, research-based instructional strategies and/or interventions with regular progress monitoring to help students achieve success. The selected strategies and interventions will match the needs of the student. The strategies and interventions are supplemental and do not replace basic instruction.
